If when selecting tracks they are being automatically armed, then the Faderport V2 is set in its Pro Tools mode. When using Faderport V2 through V-control Pro, it needs to be set in its default Studio One mode. To do this follow these steps:
1. With the Faderport powered off, press and hold the NEXT button. Power on the Faderport with the NEXT button held down.
2. When the Faderport is powered on, lights should be flashing to select a DAW mode. Press the SOLO button to select Studio One mode.
It is now ready to work with Pro Tools through V-Control Pro.
