V-Control Pro Setups shows Mackie Control in the Software section, and will not connect to Pro Tools.

As it stands, V-Control Pro is only able to connect to one DAW at a time. In earlier versions it detected the first available DAW and would connect to that and ignore any other DAW that may open after. With the most recent update (2.8.3), V-Control Pro will automatically detect the latest DAW that is open and connect to that instead.  Users can also open the V-Control Pro Preferences window and select which DAW they prefer to stay connected to.  To download the latest update of V-Control Pro, go to the downloads page HERE.
