I am not able to use multiple controllers of the same type with Logic Pro

In Logic Pro 10.6 and above, only one control surface of a specific type can be connected. Meaning if using a ProControl Main Unit and have multiple faderpacks, only one Main Unit and One Faderpack can be used. Logic can not differentiate between multiple faderpacks and can only connect to one.
