When using a Faderport V2, Faderport 8, or Faderport 16 with V-Control Pro and Pro Tools, it is important to disable the Faderport MIDI port in the Pro Tools MIDI Input Devices window. If it is enabled, the Faderport may send unwanted messages and controls to virtual instruments or plug-ins in Pro Tools.
