  • Set all four peripherals to None.
  • Open the MIDI Input Devices window in Pro tools.
  • Disable all ports in the MIDI Input Devices Window.
  • Quit Pro Tools
  • Quit V-Control Pro.
  • Launch V-Control Pro in Administrator Mode.
  • Launch Pro Tools in Administrator Mode.
  • In Pro Tools, open the MIDI Input Devices Window.
  • Enable only the V-Control Pro ports.
  • In Pro Tools, open the MIDI Peripherals panel.
  • Configure the HUI peripherals using V-Control Pro’s virtual Midi ports.

NOTE:  Both V-Control Pro and Pro Tools should always be run in Administrator Mode for Windows Users.
NOTE: Ensure that V-Control Pro is allowed to pass through any firewall settings in Windows for V-Control Pro to send incoming messages properly.
