The V-Control Pro icon might not appear in the Mac OS menu bar if it is a startup item. It seems to be related to the iLok licensing on certain Mac OS versions. There is a simple workaround.
1. Open Mac OS System Settings.
2. Select “Login Items”
3. Remove V-Control Pro.
4. Reboot the computer.
5. Manually launch V-Control Pro.
